WE WANT YOU! Directors Wanted For Our 2024-25 Season

Interested in directing for Chatham Players?  We're searching for three of our signature programs.

Interview for the 2024-2025 mainstage season: A resume and references should be emailed to president@chathamplayers.org with "Director Submission" and the show you are submitting for in the subject line. Once received, you will be sent an outline of what we would like to learn during your interview.

  • Sideways (September 20 - October 5, 2024)
  • You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown (February 28 - March 15, 2025)
  • Home, I'm Darling (May 2 - May 17, 2024)


Requests for interviews should be made by April 7.

For our Jersey Voices One Act Festival: Are you an experienced director? Have you acted for years but never made the leap to the other side of the stage? Do you go see theatre and think "I could make that happen"? Then Jersey Voices is the perfect opportunity. Whether you have directed a million shows or zero, we are looking for you!

Send an email to jerseyvoicesnj@gmail.com with the subject "Director Search". Tell us a little about yourself and why you are interested in directing a Jersey Voices one act.  All submissions are due March 29th.

For One Weekend Only: Our black box series, a two-show slate of small set, small cast productions, staged for just one weekend each. Interested in proposing to direct for OWO?

  • Fill out the OWO proposal form 
  • Email a one-page resume, AND a PDF of the show you are proposing, to oneweekendonly@chathamplayers.org with "Director Submission" in the subject line
