Senior Center of the Chathams Launch Free Performing Arts Program
The Senior Center of the Chathams is excited to share the news about a free performing arts program for adults 60+, called "PADD". The program teaches participants about theater artistry and provides a comprehensive and fun learning opportunity.
The Playwriting, Acting, Directing & Designing (PADD) program is split into two parts. Led by the talented and award-winning actor, playwright, and director, Anthony Caruso, the first course provides an immersive experience in crafting, writing, and performing monologues. The second course focuses on developing and performing dialogue for short scenes. Both courses must be taken.
- Part I: Monologue for the Stage runs on Tuesdays from 10AM-Noon at the Senior Center, July 18 through August 15.
- Part II: The Dialogue for the Stage runs on Tuesdays from 10AM-Noon at the Senior Center, starting September 12 and ending with a live performance on October 10.
The program is free. No experience is necessary and Chatham residency is not a requirement. If you, or someone you know, would like to sign up, please call the Senior Center at 973-635-4565.
