Chatham Playhouse’s Play Reading Series Presents "On Golden Pond" ONE NIGHT ONLY
The Chatham Community Players is excited to offer a love story across the generations for your Valentine’s Day celebration. Join us for Ernest Thompson's play, "On Golden Pond". This Staged Reading is for One Night ONLY – Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 7:00 at the Chatham Playhouse, 23 North Passaic Avenue, in Chatham. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. This is the love story of Ethel and Norman Thayer, who are returning to their summer home on Golden Pond for the forty-eighth year. They are visited by their divorced, middle-aged daughter and her dentist fiancé, who then go off to Europe, leaving his teenage son behind for the summer. Time, they know, is now against them, but the years have been good and, perhaps, another summer on Golden Pond still awaits.
