Jersey Voices Call for Original Works – Deadline Jan 31, 2026

Chatham Community Players is seeking original one-act plays or musicals written by New Jersey (or New Jersey connected) authors, for Jersey Voices' 32nd Annual Production.

The submission DEADLINE is JANUARY 31st, just two months away!

Play submissions can be of any genre, style, length up to 15 minutes and are limited to three per playwright. At its core, theater is a collaborative art form. Our goal at Jersey Voices is to encourage the vibrant exchange of ideas that is only possible by staging new material. To further this mission, you may be contacted after the deadline with the opportunity to further develop your piece alongside a director and cast.

Selected pieces will be performed in our Black Box Theater in Chatham on the last weekend in July and first weekend in August. All submissions are accepted by e-mail only to: jerseyvoicesnj@gmail.com.
