Step into the whimsical world of The Drowsy Chaperone, a capricious musical comedy that bursts to life with catchy, clever tunes, outrageous characters, and a heartfelt tribute to the golden age of Broadway. As our narrator guides us through his favorite cast album, you’ll relive the wonderful absurdities of classic American musicals, get caught up in a fast-paced, ridiculous and engaging story, and be treated to parody/homage numbers that may be more fun than the originals. The Drowsy Chaperone is a fond and funny round-of-applause for live musical theater, and a joyful reminder of why we fell in love with the stage in the first place.
