The Chatham Community Players will kick off their 87th season with Frederick Knott's Wait Until Dark.

This marks the 14th time that the Chatham Players has produced this show: from 1988-1995, the group produced the show every December, and it now produces the show on a biennial basis.

In the blistering hot summer of 1925, a tiny courtroom in a small town named Hillsboro captured the attention of the world. The issue? A state law that forbids the teaching of evolution and a local teacher’s violation of that law.

The laughs are abundant in this play by one of the masters of American comedy. The story surrounds four couples from London, Philadelphia, Chicago and New York who separately inhabit a Beverly Hills hotel suite, bringing along their problems, anxieties, and comical marital dilemmas.
